Born in 1955 in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture.
Started making pottery at home in 1971.
Studied under Koyo Takeda in 1981.
He has won numerous awards, including the highest award at the Chozaburo Ceramics Exhibition.
Awarded 2 times and selected 12 times at the Japan Sencha Crafts Exhibition.
Received the Grand Prix (Chairman's Award) at the 32nd International Exhibition of Artists.
