Koji Kamata is a very famous writer in the pottery of the Tenme glaze cup, famous for receiving the incense of the human national treasure, Uichi Shimizu. The only one that creates a unique kiln change that shows various expressions depending on the angle of light is Tenme glaze, mainly iron.

Born in Kyoto in 1948
In 1968, received the guidance of Gojozaka Shimomizu Mizusa for pursuing pottery.

Started Tenme's research in Gojozaka joint climbing kiln "Bell Casted Kiln"
