Tokoname ware "Koshin kiln" Tadaomi Kato
The teapots made by Koomi have various characteristics.
``Pilot lid'' The spigot lid is made by adding legs to the lid itself and eliminating the shelf. The good thing about the spigot lid is that it doesn't fall off when pouring tea, and you can easily remove the used tea leaves when you throw them away. The spigot lid has been passed down from generation to generation as a craftsmanship skill that requires advanced technology and experience.
``Marble teapot'' is made with a marble-like finish based on the traditional Tokoname pottery technique ``Mogake''. It is triple-baked to express its deep texture and unique color.
This teapot is recommended by Koomi, who is a well-known craftsman of Tokoname ware.
