Tokoname ware "Koshin Kiln" Kato Tadaomi
The teapots made by Koomi have a variety of characteristics.
"In-law Lid" The in-law lid is a place where the legs are attached to the lid itself and the shelf is removed. The good thing about the inlas lid is that the lid is difficult to fall off when pouring tea, and it can be removed smoothly when throwing away the teashell. The inlaw lid has been handed down as a skilled craftsman who requires advanced skills and experience.
"Marble Teapot" is made with a marble-style finish based on the traditional Tokoname ware technique "algae." It is baked three times to express its heavy texture and unique color.
This teapot is recommended by Kaomi, a craftsman known only to some of Tokoname ware.
